Exterior Paint Work Costs on 3 bed house

Hello
We are first time buyers and have found a cheap house and there is work to be done to the property.
Can anyone advise me on the cost of repainting a 3 bedroom ex council house Laing contruction. It is not a straight forward paint job. The previous owner has painted over the render again and again so where it needs to be rough and bubbly (forgive me as I don't know the correct wording) in lots of places it has now gone smooth. Large pieces have flaked off the weather wall, some pieces being one foot square.
The 3 walls will have to be burnt over or chemically removed before it can be repainted again. Due to the previous paint jobs having to be removed can anyone advise of the cost we would be looking to pay someone? We live in Bristol.
Many thanks to anyone that has had this done before or indeed is a painter and decorator and can advise us

you can only burn off oil paint. masonry paint is usually water based. sounds like you need the render repaired first.
budget costs exterior painting inc walls about 2000/3000 quid.Get some gorm.0 -
Thanks Ormus for the reply, you can see how much I know about paint.0

Hi,
There are a variety of options, cost wise would be from £1500 to £5000 plus, it would need to be viewed as your discription is a bit vague, im in Staple Hill Monday 14th around 4.30 looking at a job.0 -
you may be lucky in that where the paint has peeled away it may be possible to scrape back to a sound edge , if you are unlucky and it's all just hanging on then it may all need to come off if you want to do a good job , probable causes are the paint being to thick - the paint should be thinned on these surfaces esp for the 1st coat or the wall needed stabilizing solution applied ,
as for price depending on condition of woodwork , i would have thought around £1500 to £2500 unless the walls need major stripping - ie sandblasting or similar0
