Superdry t-shirt fading in wash....grrrr...

Hi all, hope you are well.

I purchased a tshirt from cult in April of this year, I've worn it a total of two times and washed it twice. I've done exactly to the description, cold wash inside out, iron inside out, don't tumble dry etc and the writing has faded badly on the tshirt.

Now, I have no reciept and know I'm stuck on that count. But I'm planning to buy another tshirt to replace it (the same one), where do I stand if the same problem happens again, say within 14 days? Superdry say they won't refund for defects including not being washed exactly how they describe but if I do it how they say again and the problems still happen, surely they'd have to replace/refund?

    Hi fluffy,

Just to warn you I had one of their hoodies where all the print faded off as well, even though it was washed correctly... Is it really worth buying another t-shirt and taking the risk, I'm not sure! After wasting £65 on a jumper I had to throw out, I wouldn't buy their stuff again.

Is it supposed to fade so it looks more vintage ?

Not that I'm aware of, my friend has a similar tshirt and the design has remained.

Super dry stuff has degraded in quality since they "took off" in the UK.

When I first encountered super dry, the quality was amazing, infact some of the T-shirts I bought still look brand new, however my recent purchases are now looking somewhat aged.

My girlfriend recently bought one and it's less than 2 months old, faded etc.

Anyway, in regards to the problem, if you have other proof of purchase (bank statement, credit card receipt) you could try using that, they may exchange it or offer store credit, but they won't refund you (part of their T&C's)
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!
