I would imagine so looking at the stats on Google Analystics (or whatever its called). It shows which providers have been used to route the page visits and whether they were from an ipod etc.

I was on there for quite a while last night, it's quite interesting, I told you I have no friends, now you know why.

If you have no friends clicking in your ad, and you made that much, please keep at it. Learn about SEO (search engine optimization) , in short get picked up in google search when people search your keywords.
I myself not good with computers and these things, and I managed to get good ranking for my blog, and if I can do it, anyone can.
The first thing to check for is ranking, for new blog that will not happen over night, you have to earn it, it some kind of reward system from google saying, your website deserve that place.
If you download google tool bar with page ranking, google gives ranking from 0-10, the higher the number the better traffic it is, this site is 5 – or 7 can’t remember, I don’t have tool mark in this pc.
I took mine from 0 to 3 not much but it is something, you can see those website with higher ranking, and kind see what went right. Obviously there is more to it, that the basic of it.

As this site is about facts I feel I have to correct a thing or two about the post above. In my job as an SEO, I work with companies having the goal of ranking them and generating traffic.

The Green Bar Pagerank has nothing directly to do with the amount of visitors. It is a linking algorythm. It is basically designed to show you how many websites link to the website in a extremely simple manner. The green bar is usually updated every quarter, and at the point of update is between 4-6 weeks out of date with the live linking data.

It is purely a link popularity tool. Google in that quote (I recall it as a google quote originally from the pagerank white paper iirc) interpret an important page as a page with a lot of links going to it.

However in recent years pagerank is a lot less important in the ranking algorythm (It was reputed at one point to be responsible as high as 90% of the ranking factor - albeit well over 5 years ago now)

very quickly after pagerank was introduced people where looking for ways to manipulate it, and black hat link farms were produced and so google then added in the anchor text checks, which were soon overcome and google introduced the next thing - and the circle continues.

Well, I have discovered where the clicks came from.

My husband said he had been to the page on his mobile as had my daughter and his mate who he had sent the link to! :mad:

There is me thinking this was an easy way of making money.

Since throwing the book at him and telling them not to carry on I have had zero clicks.

I few visits but no clicks.

I've just subscribed to Lisa on youtube - she's brilliant, and she really is different - she's not selling anything at all, she's analysing the emails she gets from people who want to make money from blogs! Very quick, very bright, a basic good idea.

It makes a change to find someone on YouTube who does feel the need to help other people without anything in return.

I haven't watched all of her vids yet as she has about 70 but the few I have seen have been very good.
