Making money from Google Adsense

Morning fellow moneymaker wannabes
.
I have been looking at Google Adsense as a way of making a bit of money from the internet.
I've had a browse through some YouTube vids for a bit of info.
Looks like one way is to make a blog, ad Adsense Google ads to it and when people click on the ad you get an unstated amount of money.
Well, I had a go at this the other day, created a basic one page Blog and have made £29.30 in 3 days without many people actually going to my blog page.
Nope, I'm not going to be a millionaire but it nearly £30 for nothing.
Anyway, I wanted some advice regarding linking my blog to gain traffic.
I had opened a Twitter account only to get a free delivery code once from Boffer
but don't really use it.
Can someone tell me where would be the best place on Twitter to place a link to my Blog page please?
Also, does anyone know anywhere were you can post your link so that others can click on it and you can read their sites so that you are both making money?
Regarding the Adsense, you can also open a free Google Analytics account (they are all connected ot each other) where you can see the countries from where people have clicked on your ads.
They show a map of the world, you click on the country, I clicked on the UK this morning and it shows a map and lists the towns and cities.
Just checked and I've had people look from Athens, Singapore, Maryland, Texas and quite a few towns and cities in the UK.
It really is quite interesting so may be worth your while if you are bored and want to try and make some money. I say try as I have had no visits yet today so have made zilch but once I get the ways of directing people to the site it will be better.

Hi, I just wondered what your blog topic is?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I found this lady and had a look at a few of her YouTube vids.
Before you watch this, it is NOT one of those videos that ask you to buy stuff from their website (which most of them seem to be).

I also put a link on some sites that I am a member of, I don't think you can do that here, you would get it removed.0 -
Hi, I just wondered what your blog topic is?
I have just put a couple of recipes on there for now, that is all and added some google ads.
I found out from Lisa3876 at YouTube that if you put a link on your blog to a YouTube video (if the video maker allows it they will put the link at the side of their vid), if it is one of those with ads on, when a visitor clicks on the ad you will get a cut of the profits just like the person who has the video on YouTube.0 -

Thanks for that, I shall take a look at that later.

£10 a day from adsense is a ridiculous amount for a 3 day old one page blog. It sounds a little too high for a recipe site, are you sure friends haven't been clicking ads for you?0

I agree, adsens is hard work, I started blogging two years ago, and I only started making money after the 3rd month, I made $150, now I wonder why I stopped. It involves a lot of hard work, if any one think they can just put few google ad and wait for the money to flood, they are into shock.
Google have very tight measures to stop people abusing the system, they can ban any one for life for breaching the contract.
Unless friends been clicking into the ad, how can a blog seo optimised in three days? You might see the money in your Google account but when payment time comes, google will make sure it is legitimate clicks.
I think there is money to be made but it involves a lot of hard work, and patience, and a lot of writing.0 -

Nope, I haven't told anyone about the blog yet and I certainly don't know anyone in Singapore, USA or Greece!
I have put a link to a vid on my site on a couple of sites that I am a member of and when I checked this morning the UK site had 185 views and the Singapore site had 43 views.
I have also put the link in my siganture on another site that allows you do do that.
Just had a look on the Adsense page and it says I have had 715 page impressions and 112 clicks.0 -

I never thought of that but then again I don't have many friends who are online (they are too old!).
Ok then, I don't have many friends.:(0
