Council Tax

Hi All

Before I go to my local council and ram this court summons so far up someones back side can you please confirm

The bill is dated 17/07/09 to 05/02/10

I was made BR on the 17/11/09

Can this bill be included in my BR

Thing is this bill was paid in full. However I had missed a few payments for my house that was repo'd and this was included in my BR

Now they have moved money from the bill paid in full to the old account and want me to pay it again.

Can they do this?

It was such a joy getting home last night to a court summons

    Ring them, as anything up to the 17/11/09 will be included, not sure about the remaining though. xx

    I've had major problems with the council since my OH moved out
    3 different bills for 3 different amounts
    I have phoned them 18 times and the lady i just spoke to looked at her system and said yea is a mess I dont get it.

    Its a summons for non payment of a bill that I have a letter from the council confirming that it has been paid in full

    The council have phoned me back - only took 2 months

    the letters have just been for my records - they are going after the OH but as it was a joint bill they have to send me a copy!

    I know - how long would it have taken them just to type that hey 5 seconds maybe!!!! They make me laugh!!!!!

    I think you need your diet pepsi to de-stress - theres plenty in my fridge lol!!!
