Help Who is 60 Second Man?

Please help. At my kids group yesterday, I demonstrated how to make a simple camera obscura from discarded cereal packets and parchment paper. The kids mentioned something about 60 second man, who makes things in 60 seconds or something like they. They realised he was some kind of fraud! (yep, them aged 6 to 7 saw through his veil, and knew that things like that take longer than a minute to make). It is just that Freddie has never heard of him.
Thinking of that, I doubt if my pack will watch him again after yesterday!
Right now for kites (Bin Bags and Bamboo canes, bit of string), have to make one first before continuing the social experiment!)

He's a guy called Mister Maker on Cbeebies (www.mistermaker.com)
He is a bit like a 21st century Tony Hart, but a bit less posh (and aimed at younger kids)
He is really good, and once per show he makes something simple in 60 seconds - usually a badge, or something that sticks on top of a pencil, something like that
Hope that helps

honestly he does make things in 60 seconds, there is no fraud or pre-prepared items. they are simple craft ideas, that ok, if you took a few mins over them, might look a bit more professionally finished, but can, in all honesty be assembled in 60 seconds

It was not me who thought he was a fraud, honest I had never heard of him (too bloody grown up mes). The kids, aged 6-7 said that he could not possibly do it in that time!
PS. Most of mine presentation and gadgets do not work and boy, do they know that!0 -

Thanks, got some great things to do from this site. I feel squirty things and candles in buckets coming up, neighbours being upset, bicarbonate of soda, bottles and vinegar.
This is going to get messy.

My ex was 60 second man, but he didn't do artSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
