Thursday 10th June - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :T
Morning!
Up early today and feel much better for it! More energised and ready to roll!
My list looks like this:-
- [STRIKE]1x HC on and 1x in tumble due to rain![/STRIKE]
- NSD
- Lunch from stores
- Dinner from stores - stir fry with LO gammon
- Must go through WIP today
- [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check free money card[/STRIKE]
- No purfume today as I accidentally split a washing tab all over myself and smell lovely now! LOL
- Washing up when I get home
- HW off all day
- TV etc off at wall
Will think of more I'm sure!
Jx

, not good but improving and if i can be in 100% by end of august I will be back to normal. Whilst we were talking my boss kept stressing what a big support she is finding me and how pleased she is to have me there. That was lovely.
And DD who had been sulking rang to tell me she had been offered a place on an art and design course at college. Great news as she has been told by specialist that she cannot do hairdressing (which she loves) and I was dreading her having to eave college and look for a job.
So today I have my cheery head on, lets hope for more good stuff

Hi everyone
I am struggling through my last day of work for the week today
I’m off work tomorrow and then bridesmaid for my SIL2B on Saturday, so it’s all go!
Here’s my list:- Usual porridge for brekkie, packed lunch for work and enjoying a free cuppa
- Aiming for NSD #4!
- Tied my hair up and didn’t bother washing it – dry shampoo is my saviour!!
Not sure how DFW this is as a can costs about £2 but did save water and electricity… - Call/email yoga peeps about a workshop that’s on
- Call spa to book for tomorrow!
V excited about this (esp. before the busy w/e) and v DFW as I got a gift voucher for my birthday!
- See if I can get a new bikini for ^ and honeymoon with £20 gift voucher – sounds easy but voucher is for Deb’hams and they all look ‘spensive
- Used freebie lipbalm but … their ploy is working on me! I really like it and the temptation to buy it with £3 MOC is getting too much…!!
- Decided to give our Quidco cashback as a wedding pressie and not get our ipod docking station just yet. Kinda
but kinda
- Wee bit voluntary stuff
- Getting our tea cooked for us
xx0 -
-
Don't think I'm doing much DFW stuff today unfortunately

All that's on the list so far is:- Having lunch from home
- Received package from home today with Microsoft Office disc so I can install on my pooter, some books and a card making program

- Meetings at either end of the day so no spend on my personal travelcard
- Free tea from work
- Mum emailed me her yummy macaroni cheese recipe :T
La escosesa - how kind of you giving your Quidco vouchers as a pressie!
OliveOyl - good work on the car! We are thinking of selling ours soon, hadn't thought of putting it on Ebay.
Hope everyone else is having a good Thursday so far - nearly the weekend!LBM 04/05/10 :T DEBT FREE 30/07/10 :j I made it!CHALLENGES: 0 bought lunches June or July
