child benefit and child tax credits stopped

Hi i am a lone parent and hoping someone is able to help me a long story but will give you the basics..In feb i had my child benefit put on hold because my ex husband put a cliam in saying they lived with him..However in jan i recieved a letter stating that someone had made a cliam and asked if i wanted to continue recieving child benefit i returned form stating i do not surrender child benefit..after many phone calls many emails and letters ive also sent relevant documents proving children rights are at my address yet are getting no furthur and helpline are not helpful at all, worse is ive also had my child tax credit stopped so for weeks i have been struggling to survive on £115 per fortnight this should not be allowed to happen and is affecting my health and wellbeing..does anyone have any suggestions..ive even emailed local mp and welfare rights...please reply if an offer any advice
