Returning To Work

I have just received my job back from my former employers following a lengthy appeal process against my dismissal (7 months to be precise) and I'm due to start back early next week. I am being re-employed as a new starter so it's just as if I am starting a new job.

I just have a couple of questions I need answering if any one can answer them. I have been claiming JSA in this time however my claim was cancelled around 7-8 weeks ago as I was remanded in custody for a short length of time. Following my release I did a rapid re-claim so have now been claiming JSA again for around 6 weeks.

Like I said I have a verbal offer of employment to return to my previous job and I'm just waiting for the contract to come through the post.

I'm confused as to what to do or tell them at the moment as I have no money and if I sign on il get a payment on Tuesday. If I do tell them tomorrow that I now have a job and start next week then I don't know what will happen and that's why I'm looking for advice.

My first pay day from my job is unlikely to be for another 6 weeks so I'm unsure how I am supposed to make 90 odd pound last 6 weeks when I'm now going to have to pay a fiver petrol a day to get to work plus a packed lunch every day and also I need to buy a new pair of work boots.

I'm delighted I now have a job just concerned how I'm going to get through the next six weeks without any money.
