Hi
I have an exam at Harper Adams University next Saturday (19th), and will have to go down on the Friday and stay over, returning on Saturday afternoon.
I am trying to find the cheapest rooms available, within the shortest distance possible from the campus, but am struggling!
Also does anyone know the cheapest place to get train tickets?
Thankyou! :money:

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I do not not the area as from London, but googled and found this link for accomodation.

I am sure that if you post details of your train route some kind people on this site will be able to advise you of the cheapest way to travel. This involves sometimes splitting the route up.
Good luck with your exam.0 -
Everywhere charges the same price for train tickets, including your local station.
A few agencies (trainline, qjump) charge a booking fee - avoid
a couple of train companies offer an online discount on some tickets on their own trains (East Coast, Southern)
in't middle o' nowhere isn't in the index of stations unfortunately, so can't give specific help:(0 -
Well its a bit late too get cheap fairs on the train your best bet is for cheaper tickets is spilt ticketing or getting the bus instead.0

Hi,
I used to live in this area.
Harper Adams is in a small village called Edgmond on the outskirts of Newport. You could try the pubs in the village.Alternatively you could try Newport for a B & B,hotel or pub.
I think the nearest train station will be Telford.
You will need to think about how you are going to get from the station ie taxi or bus.
Have you been in touch with Harper Adams for advice, they may have some accomodation that you could use, some students may have gone home freeing up some rooms.
Good luck with the exam.0
