I need this item quickly

Have had a run of buyers recently messaging me after purchase telling me of their urgency for their item and please post immediately as they need it for a date a few days away.
But only paying for 2nd class postage when 1st class is a selectable option.
If they need it so quickly, why don't they pay the extra 20p for a faster service

Because they're cheapskates, who think they can bully sellers into doing what they want at no extra cost.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Then they're twits!
If they don't get the item for when they need it, then will marking me down make any difference to them being inconvenienced not having the item when they need it?!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I've had this many times and it's a bloomin cheek when they pay and leave you a note on the pp payment saying how they want it sent 1st or recorded etc at no extra cost to them!
Not a lot you can do other than take the hit yourself or you could try invoicing them for the extra. I usually send it how it was advertised unless they have been esspecially polite or emailed prior and i have agreed. Some people just don't get how postage works.0 -
Maybe they just haven't noticed that you have other postage options. I think it would be clearer if ebay made it a radio button rather than a drop down list, the drop down just shows the seller's preferred option as default and a lot of people don't think to query if there's any other option.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Agree totally. I sometimes check my items to see the postage options, and it is obscure.0

Advise them that special delivery (next day before 9am) can be used, for an extra cost.0
