Thought I would resurrect this thread as I havent seen it in a while.
What are you doing this weekend to bring your DFD a little closer?
Theres an extra day for some of us with the bank holiday :T so maybe a little encouragement to get on with things that we have been putting off (for we you can read me
)
So Far (and to do)
Earnt £50 through Quidco (£30 profit) from opening the casino accounts - gawd online Bingo is dull
Passed an exam :T which means that I can get some more money from work in the not too distant future (long term DFW me thinks)
Start looking into the matched betting thingumybob and see how it works
Wipe the dust off the Stardrops and clean the house before Kim and Aggie turn up.
Have a lovely weekend all

Fab Idea!
So far:
Have started back at the major UK mobile phone retailer, part time weekend work (was shocked at how my beloved branch had fallen - I used to be the branch manager there), and made a days wages and £30 commission - and was extolling the virtue of this site and Quidco lol
Have just had an email from Amazon - they've swept £45 into my account from my sales.
Keeping an eye on the two things I have listed on e-bay.
Sent off for my free young persons railcard.
Sent off a cheque to a creditor - the only one I don't have set up on DD.
Working out what on earth I am going to buy a friend for her engagement and what the OH is gonna get for his birthday.
Phew, and now am sitting with a cuppa typing this lol. Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190 -
Oh dear, I have not been DFW at all really and I severely cannot afford not to be either.
But I have:
- Sold a book on Amazon and transferred the money over immediately
- Kept spending very very modest when I went out on Friday night £20 which included a taxi home and £5 entry fee into a beer fest)
- Met someone for a drink yesterday rather than go shopping = £4 total as opposed to £???
- Did some housework
- Stayed in last night and watched DVD with BF
- Did a mostly HM/DFW menu for the week
I am out tonight but am getting a lift in. Will try to keep spending modest again. Tomorrow I should barricade myself in the house.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

I worked today, double time and all that, went to the free MSE on-line house-party last night, cooked loads of O/S style meals and cakes and have got a few items on Ebay.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Well, it is not to get my debt down as such. But I am going to Australia to visit relatives in November and trying to do it without getting in to much more debt. So i have listed 16 books on e bay. Never done it before and I am very excited as someone has already bid £1. Also put a book on amazon., and drove 20 miles to an auction house that gives free valuations on fridays to put some porclain into auction. If all goes well it should make me about £250 towards my fare. I also applied via freebies and comps and got free tickets to Alton Towers and a bogof on paintballing day so I can keep dd and ds amused without spending too much dosh.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Proud to be dealing with my debts!;)
Why is a person that handles your money called a broker?!0 -
I put an item on ebay that i am hoping will go for a good deal. Bought for £1.99, posted on ebay for 35p, and already have a watcher!
Plus i submitted a piece to a magazine website, so will see if it attracts a submission (and commission for me).

Another quidco attack tomorrow though, not that anything has paid out yet which I'm slightly worried about _pale_No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
