in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
Just after some advice if possible please, spent most of last night trying to get the cross heads on my bath taps back on, managed to yank them off with some force but they dont seem to want to push back on, I did spray the spindle with wd40 as the water coming out of the taps was very weak( that fixed that problem) so dont know if its got anything to do with that.

Any help would be helpful, cant understand why they dont just push back on.


Will I need new tap cross heads or what?

    They should "just push back on" but be aware that there is often a grubscrew in the head so check if there is one and make sure it's unscrewed a bit. Also try cleaning the spindles and inside the head if possible. Then try putting the tops back on in alternative positions just in case they fit better on one way than another.
