Selling Sky + Box on ebay

I've just received my sky HD box and didnt know what to do with the sky+ box i was using. I noticed some for sale on ebay and wondered if anyone had any advice about selling it on ebay.
I am concerned that it might have personal data on it of mine for example the pin code i have to use to watch some films.

I cant find the instructions to see if i can do a factory reset (like on phones). I am happy to ask this part of the question on another board but was just hoping for thoughts on whether ebay is the best place for it!?
