I would check this morning as mine has now been updated. It can take a couple of days but I still have some online accounts with my creditors and check some of them just to check payments have been made. As usually CCCS actually pay the creditors a day before the 25th anyway.

Hi Guys

I've just discovered a problem with a creditor on my CCCS DMP, basically my Citi Card account was passed to Clarity a DCA. I informed CCCS of this and they sent proposals to Clarity on my behalf. Clarity confirmed in writing that my offer had been accepted and I made payments to CCCS as per usual.

Today I have received a letter from Clarity to say that they have not received any payments for 3 months. I gave them a call and they confirmed on the phone that they have not received 1 payment from CCCS. The lady i spoke with suggested that CCCS may of been sending my payments to Citi by mistake, as they are now closed I will have to wait until Monday to call them.

Sorry to hear about th problems your having. I am sure it will al be sorted on Monday when you contact CCCS. Did Citi write to you about transferring the Debt or was this done via CCCS?

I do hope everything gets resolved on Monday.

Hi

Citi issued a Default Notice and a letter of termination, they never accepted my DMP but did freeze interest and take the payments from CCCS for 6 months. Then out of the blue Clarity contacted me by letter to say that had been instruced by Citi Card to make arrangments to repay the outstanding balance and that all repayment proposals must be agreed with them not Citi.

CCCS then wrote to Clarity on my behalf and Clarity confirmed the agreement in writing.

I just wish they would freeze my interest. I am awaiting a response from their Cheif Ex. However Clarity sound much better to deal with. Good Luck.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have been on a DMP with CCCS since October and paid every month since. Some of the 13 creditors have accepted but there are a few that havent and boy do i know about it. Bombarded with calls home, work and mobile (ignored all). Anyway, most have passed onto external debt collectors and Restons solicitors have decided to take me for a CCJ (received papers today from court in Northampton). How on earth am I supposed to get there?.
I am physically and mentally exhausted with it all to tell you all the truth and I do not feel as though I can fight this anymore. Can anyone advise me what my next steps are please and what is likely to happen? I have emailed CCCS will have to wait till monday though. What makes me sigh though is that this bank sent me a new credit card the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!. Give up!!!!

Sory to hear about the problem you are having. What Bank has decided to do this. I cannot understand why they would go down the CCJ route as if you have been making the payments albeit reduced I cannot see how a judge can rule in their favor. Who is the creditor? A judge would rule in your favour I think. But consult CCCS.

Hi Mikon its MBNA bank, I just wish they would accept what I am trying to do. I am self employed in retail which is not at its best for the past two years or so, but I am trying my best to keep going. If you Google Restons solicitors you will see what """"" they are.
