Do you mean the stuff that has little hairy balls as seeds and kind of sprawls across the ground in bristley, thin stems? Around here it's called cleavers.0

Sticky Willie in Scotland, goose grass around here??? Not really a major problem as it pulls out quite well (get it before the seeds drop off), a right pain if you have spaniels as it can get into their ears and cause major problems.
