black and decker drill confusion

Basically im planning to buy my hubby a drill for his birthday but im getting rather puzzled. The model im looking at is a black and decker
KR504CRESK but tesco has it all plain and all normal drill looking where as amazon has it with a black handle and a measuring stick

amazons version
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Decker-KR504CRESK-Corded-Drill/dp/B002X797MU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=diy&qid=1276108896&sr=8-1

tesco version
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-2013.aspx

So whats going on are they different drills or just different pictures. If there different drills does the one one amazon have a hammer function im really puzzled thanks for any help othered

Looks like different packages of the same drill. They both should be the same spec though. The hammer setting is the black slide on the top of the drill, could be that tescos jut dont give you the depth guide and handle or they just havent included them in their listing.

They are the same, and should have the same attachments.
I'm a really ungrateful miserable person, and I have to say, I would rather choose my own, so my wife has stopped buying me tools years ago.
Drills are a real toy, I prefer cordless to corded, or an SDS drill to hammer.

    edit,
tesco does state front secondary handle - no

but I've never seen one that hasn't come with one.

Just noticed the model you have chosen has a keyed chuck.

You may be better by spending a bit more and getting one with a keyless chuck.

These are much quicker and easier when changing bits etc.

And mikey ive seen my husband looking at this drill he was even going to get it from tesco about 2 months ago until a unexpected bill came up so he didnt just spotted the same drill on amazon but for less but with more

phil he only uses it every now and again not an essencial everyday itemso taking abit longer to insert a drill bit plus it might give me a chance to catch him before he puts a hole in my wall

They are not the same drill. The one from Amazon has a keyless chuck, which any serious DIYer will tell you is much to be preferred. But I agree with Mikey about wanting to choose my own.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
