    If I had more time on my hands I would bid and if I win for 99p then I can file a dispute and leave negative when the item doesn't arrive.

    Not sure if it costs less to do a buy it now with a combined auction start price? Unless the seller has no idea how to do a buy now without auction.

    I think he's under the misconception that if he has a 99p auction and adds a BIN he won't have to pay listing fees

    What an idiot! He's going to get a surprise when his ebay bill comes in. I guess he doesn't read the bit about the fees you'll be charged when he lists stuff.
