In my area you have to ring a phone number to let them know you have found work. When your claim is closed you will then receive payment which will be from your last signing day upto the day before you start work.

Yes you can either ring them or take the back bit of your jsa book into the jobcentre and they will sign you off and issue payment upto the date you sign off So you will still get your payment

Visit the JCP office and hand in your completed ES40 (signing book). On Part 3, write the last day to be paid for Monday 14.06.2010. This should allow you to be paid for 13 days of those two weeks. Congrats on getting a job!

Just send back your booklet they will sign you off. well done for getting a job.

I recieved my last payment about a week after i have signed off. I think i had just signed on as normal and later that same week I had a job offer, so that was a bit of good luck also.

But they will check your dates etc and still pay you up until the last date.

I did'nt call the number I just sent back the booklet to them. Its the same either way call them or send back the booklet.

Well done on getting the job! A nice man in the job centre actually told my husband to inform them 2 days after he started work, apparently incase he didn't like the job and wouldn't lose anything!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
