    Good morning everyone.:D

Weather looking pretty drab at the moment, still quite breezy as well, but blimey it didn't half throw it down last night.

Fingers crossed for nicer weather to come.:j

I need to find the letters/paperwork for Niddy as promised, its going to take me ages though, lots of it to get through.

Niddy, if you read this - do not rush with mine, as I understand your in demand by lots LOL.......:D. Cheers.

    Hi all

Completely ga-ga sorting out stuff for interview (on Thursday Ann). Just wish I could win the lottery then I wouldn't need to bother with interviews or debts.

Fell asleep at 7.30 last night and didn't wake up until 7.30 this morning. I need to go and buy another suit because the one I bought last year doesn't fit me now :( Damned anti-depressants and their weight-gain side effect!!

    Di,

I know exactly what you mean re finding paperwork! I always try to combine finding stuff with sorting out (and throwing, hopefully) so it seems slightly more productive.

And, you never know, you may find up finding something precious you have forgotten about! Here's hoping, anyway!

Have promised myself a paperwork sorting/shredding next week, when the tennis is on. I like watching the tennis but feel guilty isI can't be doing something else at the same time. Will have to watch the shredder if the tennis gets exciting, though!

    Hi Pixie,

I am sure you had already told me about the interview date - that's what old people do, forget things! Would welcome any ideas about how to keep my brain active - I have managed to lose nearly half a stone since retiring, so think my diet plus additional exercise is working. And I have realised that I spent far money on food (and consequently ate more!) when I was at work!

Regarding the lottery, you and me both Pixie. Let's keep hoping!

Morning Ann Everyone, Hope everyone had a good weekend. I spent most of it watching football and playing with my niece and nephew. England were abysmal. The Germans will take some stopping, best game so far! Have a great day everyone and speak later. One last thing, ITV should not be allowed to broadcast football!

    Morning Fitzer,

Glad that you enjoyed the weekend.

I have been reading all the reams of stuff about England, their goal-keeper and ITV missing England's only goal! I don't read the back of newspapers so have missed any comments about the Germans.

Who has got the Germans in our sweepstake? I know I could check but I am being lazy!

I am going to have a look soon - if only to see (or should it be hear?) for myself what all the fuss is about those things making all the noise!

I am getting ready for work. I dont want to go! The money savers arms is so funny. There is a thread for people who didn't watch the world cup and it asked what people did instead. Gosh, there are some really funny people on this site! Have a good day all.

Ooooh! That sounds good, saving wannabe - going to go visit it now! I feel naughty as it is working hours....:p

    Hi Ann :hello:

I have just spent quite a while last night and this morning reading your thread. You sound like a completely different person from the scared lady writing at the beginning of this thread. You seem so much more confident and in control so I just wanted to :T you.

    Jo :)

PS The tennis looks set to be pretty good this year...so definitely mind what you shred!! :rotfl:
