It's still quite warm today and I have done my two hours penance in the garden, so am feeling somewhat virtuous!
While you were doing your two hours penance I've been on here - and I only logged on for a quick catch-up. I've really got to go and get some work done. I still haven't finished sorting out bedroom/office and I haven't been doing any walking. My bum's just getting bigger with sitting at this computer for so long
Speak to you all later, probably just before the football. I wonder who Fitzer's supporting? My ex put a £10 bet on Holland to win the World Cup before it all started so he's really pleased they went through to the final last night.0 -
Hi everyone,
I really did try to post earlier - but got a message saying that the site was down for maintenance!
But, I am around now - and feeling much less grumpy than I did yesterday. I took the view that when I was in such a bad mood it was best to keep quiet - which proves that I CAN keep quiet, albeit not very often!
Anyway, it's good to see that all the faithfuls are still here plus some new names - StevieB, Hamstan, Solventsoon.

Hi mouseann
I haven't posted on your thread before but have been reading on and off. Been a regular on here for a while, usually found on the NTN and NSD threads on DFW. Just popped in here last night to zap the troll but will pop in from time to time to catch up with everyone and say hi, if that's OK.
You've got some lovely regulars on here by the looks of it so look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Looks like we are in for a warm weekend according to the forecasts - get the factor 50 out before the sun goes in! I should be sowing some flower seeds and doing some weeding but can't be bovvered because the gusty winds bring out the goosebumps every time I set foot outdoors, so I shall be looking forward to warmer/calmer days. Good news on Taxi's diary, she is finally debt free (apart from the mortgage) so celebrations all round there. Pass the champers, someone! One life - your life - live it!0
