Evening all I see we have been chattin all day I haven't caught up just got back from the Braw Lads festival, cute kids all dressed up lots of horses and bag pipes and marching bands.

I taught wee man to say Horrah! and throw his arms up as people passed (thats what you do at this thing) so he was very chuffed doing that. He got a soft serve icecream ( i think they are called Mr Whippy??) and I have a great tan.

I have 2 nice weekends booked away in some posh joints hopefully the Mr. Appreciates it!! (of course wee man is coming too)

Hey Mrs. Nid hope your well-- I remember my prom it was AWESOME I won't tell you what I got up to but in Canada its a bit different more americanized then here. My DS1 went to prom last weekend made me cry he looked great!

Jen, I'm very well thanks, hope you are too.

Ah bless, the wee man must have really enjoyed himself, especially the ice cream, bet most of it ended up all over him lol.

I'm sure the Mr "will" appreciate the weekends away and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I can only imagine what happened at your prom!! You must have been proud of your DS1.

Ok Mr Nid (good 'cos i am still a bit confused) but Mr Nid has been helping and we are hoping that dear Ann is going to be less stressed and able to enjoy her retirement.

Hello Jen, DS is learning how to be friendly just like his mum!!!! It is good that you are going away, it is fab to have a break.

Proms were only just coming in when i was leaving school in 1989!!!! oh my gosh. Isn't it great? does anyone remember the film Pretty in Pink, it is about a girls Prom dress. One of my favourites with a fantastic soundtrack!
