  • Ahh Niddy won't be going to that manchester meet so you won't miss me - cos I won't be there! That meet is for the Arms, not DFW! I thought the next DFW meet was in Bristol (isn't it?)...

I tend not to go to meets, its simply not worth it for obvious reasons, i.e. who could be there! :(

Sorry. Could have sworn your name was on the list.

    Morning all,

Have not been lying in bed until this hour - honestly!

Made myself do some chores before logging on - otherwise I would not get anything done at all. There are just so many posts to read!

Now going to do some pruning before it gets too hot - glorious morning here!

The hubby is happy though he got the day off work so I could go he's now going to watch england loose errr play. I kinda want them to win so I don't hear the moaning if they loose.

    Have a good day everyone

    All the best Jen,

I sort of want England to win as well - and you are right about the moaning if they lose! It will probably go on until the next World Cup!

    Morning Jinny :D

You should be asleep, not copying Handyman and logging on at silly hours lol..... there are no trolls, anywhere (right now) - it's remarkably quiet :o:o

I agree with some of what you say actually, its not so much the photo's but the fact some things should remain online and online only! Different if a select few that get on, arrange a meet, but i'm not into big open forum meets - you never know could be there, I mean you could go there and realise that mouseann (for instance) is really your boss or your exes new mistress - whatever! We're all an alias of sorts, when on here ;);)

I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound bad lol = sorry ann, you were the obvious example, being the hostess... :rotfl:

    Am actually flattered by this!

Regarding exes I could name names - but I won't! (It's a very long story and I need some wine to be able to tell it!)

I agree re the meeting, actually. Didn't actually think it through - it would be awful to bump into people you know - or even worse, someone you may have "issues" with (or an affair with them or their partner!(

    Not really, Jinny!

I always take Vitamin C and echinacea if I feel a cold coming on.

Also, I think Vicks First Defence nasal spray helps.

    Not very old-fashioned, though!

Morning all back to work now and finding it all a bit much so not had any time to read the thread. Just wanted to say hi and I'll catch up tonight hopefully xxx

Glad work is going well, Moneypenny.

And I guess those of us who are not gainfully employed are not helping by posting loads of stuff for you to wade through!
