Frightened about my future - part 2.

Theres a moving tale my great uncle used to tell us that in the first world war the sound of the bagpipes used to help the scottish regiments go over the top. That still makes me very emotional so nids song brothers in arms from dire straits (a geordie group) fits in with that. They used to bury the young soldiers linking arms thats what that song is about. Oh im sorry to be so sad but we must remember how Great Britain can join together sometimes when we have to. Sorry hope i havent put a downer on the thread tonight quick someone tell a joke.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

and pull yourself together”

Hi Jinny,
I think this was a spur of the moment suggestion, which I didn't properly think through. Only thought of it because I had a cheap day out in London a couple of weeks ago but I am sure you are quite right about the cost!
Perhaps we should defer this until we get ourselves financially sorted out/win the lottery/rob a bank??? Or any more bright ideas???”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

and pull yourself together”

I am now going to head off to bed.
Hope the football is going well for those who are watching.
And let's hope England does well tomorrow!
Incidentally, on his radio show this morning Chris Evans said that the England manager sounds like the Godfather! I think he is pretty scary - perhaps he will scare them into winning!
Night, night everyone who is still around!

I think you are right Beanie.
And, after all, this is one of the attractions of the forum.
Incidentally, I think we have people from all over the UK - England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (if we count Fitzer, although he actually lives in England!)
