Countrywide energy
Options
I have just been looking at the comparison websites (all of them!) and my cheapest 'quote' came from the energyhelpline. It was for a company called Countrywide Energy, I have never heard of them and none of the other comparison sites seem to have them on their sites, nor can I find a website for them
. But their KWh costs are quite a bit less than what I am paying at the moment. Does anyone here use them? Or has anybody even heard of them!? If you know about them please let me know, as I don't even know when they increase their prices and I am a little worried about switching to them!

I thought I had seen it on Uswitch and I had! See

Perhaps it is classified as a Social tarrif- you habe to check a box to have them show in the comparisons.0 -
It is run by Countrywide Farmers and their website is here:- http://www.countrywidefarmers.co.uk/energy/0

Energyhelpline has been offering me Countrywide Energy for a while. However, on the Countrywide Energy website (See previous post), there is no mention of the wonderful prices quoted by Energyhelpline (or they are well hidden).0

Agreed the website likes to keep its prices well hidden. I found their electricity tariff and their rates look high at 19.56p for 1st tier and 11.20p for 2nd tier. The Gas rates are so well hidden that I'm not sure they exist. Looks dodgy0
