switching plans with Scot Power - is there any good ones?

I'm currently a customer of scot power and I'm on a basic online account. They seem to offer some good new plans but only available to new customers and I don't' know if the ones they will let me switch to are any good as they don't come up on the comparison sites.

Will I have to switch to a new supplier to get a better deal?

My last two switches have been done so badly and have resulted in a massive bill a year down the line and lots of wrangling as they took the wrong readings!

Thanks for your help,

Scotcat
