Question re IVA referral to Life Insurance Broker Hi

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this? Apologies if not.

I am in an IVA and recently had a call from them regarding help decrease my monthly outgoings.
They got me onto a cheaper energy plan which was great.

They have also referred me to an insurance broker who has been looking at finding cheaper life insurance policies for my husband and I.

My question really is whether I should have any concerns about them doing this. I am not really sure what I am worried about, perhaps the element of control in my affairs. The broker also wants me to agree that the policy must remain in place for four years.

Possibly I am looking for some one to tell me not to be daft or paranoid.

I look forward to any advice.

    You've nothing to worry about.

Provided you're replacing one insuance policy with an equivalent insurance policy then you've no concerns there.

The only concern I would have is that if you are making significant savings then you may have to increase your IVA contributions, if not immediatley, then at your next annual review. You could possibly hide those savings though in increased household expenses though.
Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
