Do a quick Google on something like "send text message pc mobile":

I use this site - http://www.cbfsms.com/

You don't have to put in your own number so no spam, but the person your texting won't know who it's from unless you have your name in it i suppose. Don't think there's any limits and it seems to be quick enough.

This site is good but be aware that sometimes its slow. Sometimes texts do not go through. Although you can check for delivery afterwards. :T
