Cheap Transport
Options
Hi Everyone,
Its my first time here in MSE, would anyone give me advise how to save me money from transport. Live in Vauxhall (Zone1&2) and work in Earls Court. Which can best save me money bus or tube? And which Payment mode, weekly or monthly?
Thank you,
josef

If those are the only journeys you make, then PAYG Oyster is the cheapest.
By bus it will cap at £3.90 a day - a 50 minute plus journey with a change of bus at Hyde Park Corner. You can make any number of additional bus journeys the same day for free
By tube it will take 20 minutes and cost £1.80 a journey (so £3.60 for home to work and back) up to a maximum of £7.20 (peak) or £5.60 (off peak) a day. If you reach the cap every day a travelcard is cheaper - £25.80 a week, roughly £99 a month or just over £1K a year - with unlimited travel in zones 1-2 and on all buses.0
