Well Done NHS !

A Praise for the NHS in my local hospital (Brid ) :T:T:T
After months of severe back pain caused by spinal arthritis and after many tests , scans and consultant visits i went to hospital for a set of spinal injections , arrived a worried , anxious and tired man ( been averaging about 4-5 hours sleep a day ) was treated with understanding and all was explained in detail .
Had the injections , a bit painful but bearable , and after an hours rest it was back home .
That night i slept for 9 hours ! absolutley Brilliant !
Pain is very much reduced and i am able to do the little things again , like picking my Granddaughter up without severe pain in my back ! :j:j:j
So thanks NHS for making my life a little bit more bearable !

  • That's such good news, and free! Although people complain about the NHS, it's a service that is free to all regardless of income :T

I am so pleased for you!! my mum has chronic back pain due to OP and has to have morphine patches on her arms, so I know how back pain can restrict you physically, and how long term pain can really get you down. As the other poster says...enjoy your new found freedom!:T

    Fantastic! :T
We all owe a debt to our medical staff, not many of us remember to heap thanks when it's due.
I'm glad they've eased your pain, I hope your life is a million times better now . :)
