Evening all,
I had to make a new claim last week, (over the phone) and have a few questions if anyone can help.
Does anyone know how long it might take for my payments to start again? will they start prior to me returning my signed form? and do you think my payment day will change as well or is it a set day for everyone?
Thanks, I'm kinda desperate at the min and they told me they couldn't give me a timescale

It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice!!

There's no timescale on getting a claim into payment but if you've done a 'phone application it will already be being dealt with as a priority; there's nothing stopping you calling to progress chase though. Payments should start as soon as all the check are done on the proviso that you sign and return the first award notice issued within 30 days of it going out. Payment dates aren't specific to you and will be computer designated but regardless of this once your claim is acceptedto award you should get your first payment about 4-5 days after a decision is made. hope this helps0
