Wow those are some great deals to Cyprus there... does anyone know what it's like? I've never been or researched it really... is it a 4 hour flight time and 2 hour time difference like greece and does it use the Euro and have the same kind of beaches? Thanks!

I have been to Paphos once 3 years ago and loved it.We went in the May and the weather was gorgeous.Flight time is around 4 hours and time difference as you said is 2 hours.
Cyprus uses the Cypriot pound and i think the exchange rate is around 0.84 to our £.
Im sure when Saveapenny comes back on she will tell you more as im sure she has been a few times.

Cyprus is lovely and both the hotels we have posted are in a good location and its cheap enough just to jum in a taxi when you get to the airport ...Its shouldnt cost no more than about £10 each way
Some goood trips to be done and the food ..well mmmm is all I can say and at those prices if the food isnt top notch you can afford to eat out a couple of nights at a local taverna.
The Tordos Mts this time of year should be very nice unlike March when we were there we sunbathed in the morning then it was -2 up the Mt later.
Also Polis and Latchi are nice for a day trip or further afield and visit Cairo

Im glad you knew the prices of the taxis from the airport Mandy as i was sure they would of been alot cheaper than the the transfers i was quoted.
