Electricity Meter
Hi
I gave my electricity meter reading on 3rd July 2009 with a reading of 26068 and I have had estimated bills until now. my last estimated bill on 24th March 2010 read 28320.
The thing is I gave them a meter reading today and it read 25064. This is less than the first reading!! I don't use hardly any electricity as I don't have a computer, or Tv. the only electricity i use is for lightbulbs!! (i am a student so I don't have anything with me in my student house)
How is this possible?
Thanks

Does the meter have clock faces for a reading? Is your writing as bad as mine?0

If OPs meter has a digital display then chances are it cycles through at least three readings, i.e Day/Night and Total.
Maybe they did not notice they were reading different results, or have a solar pv array on the roof! That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
