Alliance & leicester current a/c charge - advice please

I have an A&L current a/c, online saver and regular saver. The standing order for the regular leaves my current a/c on the 24th. This month I was at the overdraft limit and transferred funds from my online saver on the 24th. Looking at my online statement, my payment to my regular saver bounced and I have been charged 34 pounds! I transferred the funds at about midday (I was abroad at the time...) - should A&L refund me the charge and correct the payment to my regular saver? To be honest, I am more worried about the regular saver than the charge as the interest lost here will be more. Grateful for any advice...

Have you asked them why it bounced yet? Usually, if I have say, a Standing Order for the 1st of the month, it goes out at midnight. If I put money in on that day to cover it, it doesn't register until next day, and I have been charged. This is what I had happen with NatWest. They wouldn't refund but then, they're awful...
Good Luck
