Mobility aids for elderly

Hi there

My mum is coming over to visit me for 2 weeks in July. She has joint problems hence walking is an issue. Could I possibly borrow a scooter for her? How much is it going to cost me? I am still a student (graduating) hence price would be taken into consideration.

p/s: I am based in Birmingham.

Might be worth contacting your local Red Cross branch - they often lend equipment such as this ( usually for free, though a donation is appreciated ).

Try searching for Shopmobility +Birmingham and see what they have. (Unfortunately all areas have their differing facilities/vehicles.)
