Can I afford a baby?

I would say get your course done and finished 1st, I tried a college course 1 day a week, when my 3rd was a baby struggled and had to drop out, now she is 3 and in nursery I have just finished my 1st year and enjoyed it.
I know money is a worry, but if you where always waiting till you had enough money for a child you would never have one. In fact I feel as if you are looking for a reason not to have one. I know when I wanted children the urge was so strong that no matter what we where goignt o try, money or not. Kids dont have to be expensive, most of my clothes for the kids are ebay bundles £20 for loads of next clothes ect, which I sell on after they outgrow them. Buggys toys ect are great from carboots. the only thing I would say buy new is car seat. reusable nappies are a outlay at 1st but save loads of money in the long run

I would like to congratulate the op on at least having the intelligence and forethought to consider the implications of bringing a child into the world, before getting pregnant.
I would wait until at least you have finished your post grad course, you are still very young and you are the main breadwinner,. You may not even want to go back to work when you have had the baby.
but best of luck x0 -

your comment may well be right but it is very hypocritical. you have in the past said that u and you boyf HAVE to eat different things so it costs you more money...well seeing as you dont work the tax payer is paying for your lifestyle choice!!!0
