jvc camcorder problem/e06 message

read elsewhere its a motor problem,keep getting message saying unit in safeguard mode,any clues on how i can solve this problem,also i can't tape to eject

    Sometimes if you remove the battery and leave it for a while (an hour or two) then replace the battery it will clear the safeguard mode. If I remember correctly the e06 code is a stalled or non rotating capstan motor. With luck it's just stalled because the capstan wheel and guides need cleaning. Use cleaning fluid (alcohol but not gin!) on an ear bud and clean the round rubber wheel you can see if you can get the cassette housing to eject. Allow to competely dry before using and don't soak the insides.
