Hi sorry I wasn't sure where else was for this subject but basically, I am getting money next week which I am going to pay my debts off (1300 CC + 500 loan) My credit score atm is 531 I think. Just wondering basically how long it will take for my credit rating to start going up as we are looking for take a loan out for a car in a few months. Thanks

although the score is pretty meaningless, why is your credit rating so low? what do your credit files say about you?0

Not much to be honest. I checked I have had 3 late payments in 12 months and they are my only two outstanding debts. Everything else is settled. I am only 20, Dont know if that makes a difference either?! I did have a excellent score this time last year before the CC.0

It depends on how quickly your creditors update their records to experian et all. Usually it takes at least a month.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
