Have a look on Parkers website and compare the insurance groups, if you try to stick to 1-3 you insurance should be lower, You can get a skoda fabia 1.9 comfort in insurance group 2 not a bad size family car, I have a Vauxhall Agila which is similar to the Corsa in size quite roomy inside and insurance group 2.0

I've looked at a Vauxhall Agila and really liked it (it's based on the Sukuki Wagon R isn't it?) but it only had 4 seats!
I've looked at buying a Vauxhall Mariva, which is about the right size I reckon, on finance from a local dealer and I can get the insurance fully comp for £60 a month through the dealer and it's group 7. (Price comparison sites came up with more than £1000 for the year) There must be a catch somewhere.0 -
I am afraid the the cost of insurance is going up every year due to the amount of false claims, injury claims.
Vast majority of people now claim for whiplash and we all paying the price for it.
Every time you take a hire car in non fault accident from hire company or accident management company someone will have to pay the price for it.:: No unapproved links in signatures please - MSE Forum Team ::0
