Hi, how did you get the £21 off....i really have no idea how this works...i mean i know i get points, but how does that become money off??? Is it at the checkout or later??

    thanks

Its not really money off - when you get the 500 points in your quaterly vouchers you can choose to convert them into various vouchers (theme parks, days out, hotels, RAC etc) - if you do this you get 4 times the value (i.e. £5 buys you a £20 voucher) - so you could say that you get £20 off the box.

I (personally speaking) wish people wouldnt post these clubcard deals as if they were real savings - they only apply if you can find something worthwhile to convert your cash vouchers into ...

Yes - but then its ONLY £5 off - the £20 off is via the deals which are worth 4 times face value. HTH
  • Just got the freeview box from Tesco, it's great and has a 7 day tv guide, unlike many of the others. It's a bargain if you convert your clubcard points. I always change mine into restaurant vouchers.

I have a Phillips box (cost about £75) which I bought after getting fed up with the poor performance of the cheaper boxes. For months it was great but it's now very prone to freezing and sometimes certain channels appear to be off air. Have tried pressing the reset button etc to unfreeze but nothing happens so I wonder if sometimes there is a problem with the signal.

same problem here..freeview was repaired twice by philips but problem still persists..I think these freeviews are afraid of the cold & rainy weather!!
