Honda service-where should I go
Options
I have a Honda Jazz, which needs an annual service (it's actually well overdue). I have used the local Kwik-Fit for my MOT for the last 2 years as it's literally a 20 second drive away and they haven't unreasonably charged me for anything (the last MOT they didn't feel anything was needed for it to pass).
The full service is £145 there. I've been told (online) that Kwik-Fit not only charge more than others for the service, yet they will also rip me off and find problems with the vehicle.
I can't find anywhere cheaper than Kwik-Fit for a full service (other chains charge £180-200+). I'd assume local garages are far more likely to find 'problems' with the car. What should I do?

Tried the main dealer? My local Ford dealership was £2 cheaper than the cheapest one I could find that did a service to the mftrs spec.0

Comparing the price of a service is almost impossible without knowing exactly which oil and other components are to be used.0

try asking friends and family where they go
avoid the big chains like the plague is my best advice0 -
I would have thought a decent local independent would be your best bet. Your car is obviously at least four years old. Is there a local Honda dealer? At least ask them for a price. Main dealers will report every little thing that is wrong or may need attention soon. That doesn't mean that you have to get all those things done immediately.0
