Depends what you want it for, of the 2 you ask I would go for the Samsung NC10, I have one of these primarlily for use with my camera as I can remote wireless from it and it is nice and light to carry round, along with the 8hr (and It has lasted that long) battery life, also it is a nice little portable device is you need to run windows stuff. Now if it is just for browsing etc then I suggest you get the same as my other portable device, an iPad. Forget all the waffle about each type is better than the other, each have thier own uses, so look at what you need and get that.

Out of the two there, I'd say the Asus
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler

I'd go for the Asus as well. Asus are not that well known, but they have an excellent reputation for reliability and build quality. While the Samsung's are becoming very popular, you can clearly see from the amazon reviews that there are a whole bunch of people with reliability issues, screen backlight problems and wifi signal problems.

There was an original issue but a driver update sorted it.

Okay. Personal choice for the OP then I guess. Doesn't seem to be anything between them really.
