Hi all, hoping someone can help!!! We are putting our house on the market. Have had 3 estate agents round to value the property. All came in with a similar valuation so am happy with that. We have chosen the estate agent we wish to use - I just need to letthem know. We based the choice on very strong recommendation from a friend who has just sold with them and just that all round they were the ones we felt happiest with although they are not the cheapest.
Anyway the man who valued it for us said that we can get our EPC through them for £99 + VAT but that we can go online and find someone to do t which will be cheaper. I am happy to do this - anything to save a few £!! The thing is I have just done a google search and there are sooo many!!! How do I know who is genuine and will do it all correctly etc etc? Anyone have any experience/recommendations?

Hi had quotes from [FONT= ]localsurveyorsdirect.co.uk ranged from £57 to £106 for 3 bed semi. Told EA this and their £99 fee dropped to £50.[/FONT]0

As far as I know this is the cheapest EPC £35 + VAT
Price doesn't vary with number of bedrooms, tenure etc...0
