Just been to view a house in a lovely location with a large garden but needs a lot of work to bring up to date.
House is 4 bed with 1 bathroom
Lounge
Dining Room
Kitchen
WC
Would appreciate a rough estimate for any of the following:
1. Reskim all walls and ceilings (ceilings currently artexed)
2. Coving in Lounge and Dining
3. Replace all skirting with deep skirts
4. New Kitchen (13'7 x 10'3)
5. Replacement internal doors fitted by joiner (10 doors)
6. Ceramic tiled floor in kitchen and hallway.
Thanks

Good Luck with lots of work ahead. I just had my three bedroom reskimmed and had qoutes for £2600, but we did all the stripping of walls and ceilings ourselves. Add another room and bathroom and your probably looking at £3600. If they have to strip the ceilings and walls, this could be much higher. Make sure their finishing is of top quality as it is a pain and extra expense if the painters have a lot of preperation work before they can paint. Also get the qoute for the complete job and not a daily rate. We did it cheaper with Polish labourers, but had lots of preperation work to do before painting, and a huge telephone bill (£260) to deduct from their final payment.0
