I've got mine in plastic pockets in a ring binder. (These are the ones which I've cut out of magazines etc).
Recipes I've found on the internet are just in my favourites folder, which I regularly back up - just incase.0 -
Morning all,
I store mine in 7 A4 folders, with the main ones I use for work in a double depth folder.
These are all backed up onto my laptop & CDR(at home) which goes everywhere with me on assignment.
Occasionally I sell my recipes as I've now collected this many, & they are from places such as 'The Fat Duck', 'Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons - Raymond Blanc', 'Gordon Ramsay - Chelsea', 'Tom Aikins - Chelsea', 'The Oak Room - MPW' etc.
The List goes on.
So if you see on eBay recipes from any of these places, it's probably me.

How old fashioned am I? My recipes are mainly stored in books - two long shelves of them! I also have a book with recipes cut rom magazines dating back to the early days of marriage (1970!) and a folder with recipes DH started printing out on our first computer - the paper was that roll stuff with perforations! My big project (for "someday" will be to copy out those I actually still use - surprisingly a lot - and then I'll keep them in a file on my laptop...or maybe print them out...
Recipes I've "invented" or adapted over the years are card indexed.Resolution:

I have various recipe books, as well as folders with plastic sleeves for recipes from amagzines and off the internet.
My folders are
"summer" (recipes from May to October, each section divided by month)
"winter" (recipes from November to April)
"sweet"
"favouries" (including other misc stuff like bread, drinks etc)
"lunches"
I get the BBC Good Food mag every month, and after reading it, I take out all the recipes I am interested in. gereal food ones go into that month (e.g. June) in the folder for me to make next month.
I try to make 3 new recipes each weekI am very organisedSave the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0 -
In a note pad next to the computer!
Need it everytime I come on here to jot recipes down.;)0 -
I find Google Notebook is invaluable. Have a look here:
http://www.google.com/notebook
Its really easy to use and very powerful. You basically download a little plugin for your browser that lets you highlight stuff and then note it. Notes can be edited, organised, searched ect...
Heres an image of mine, as you can see on the left I have a number of different sections, Recipes, Work, Money.... Ermmmm Serials.... Not that I have any illegal software installed or anything....And as you can see I've got all my favourite MSE OS recipes noted! If MSE ever breaks again, I wont have lost any of my favourite recipes!

For those of you that store yours on a computer, do you print them out every time you want to try one, or do you have computer access in your kitchen?0

This laptop has wireless access to the net, so I simply take it with me into the kitchen and read the recipe on screen. Saves paper!SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0 -
