claire - sounds like you are doing great. I can't wait to actually meet up with you at Ames' meet next month in Bristol (hint, hint, anyone else want to join us?)

I've got a big box for amazon and ebay stuff, and I still give some stuff to the charity shops. I can't be doing with ebaying everything as I thought about the cost and time involved in packing and posting stuff, so I decided if I was unlikely to make more than £2 before fees, that it wasn't worth the effort of giving up a lunchbreak to end up with less than 50p.

Thanks guys-we worked out what we need to live off till he starts his pension, and have left that amount in a savings a/c ,and took the excess and knocked it off the mortgage-very nearly mortgage free, but we want to keep a small one in case we decide to move-think it's easier to get a new mortgage as an existing customer (for over 20 yrs) rather than as a newbie..yes?Also,if you still owe a small amount they store the deeds for you, rather than having to pay them to do it for you are MF!

    Happy birthday, Sammy!

I'm just sat in my room watching the rain. There's nothing like seeing rain come down when you know you don't have to go out in it. :D I feel ridiculously happy for some reason. I'm not going to question it, I'll just go with it and get things done while I'm motivated.
