Happy birthday Sammy  - hope you have a good day.
Wet and dank here this morning quite refreshing to run around doing the house work without feeling like yet another shower.
A day of enforced staying in today - DH's electric wheels have gone off to be investiaged and I'm not pushing the manual chair in the rain (cos I'm mean like that)
Need to go balance the bank accounts and check on a post office parcel which still hasn't been delivered 7 days after posting.....luckily I did sent it "signed for" delivery so I've covered my back."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning everyone
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMY!! hope you have a lovely day.
Well I've had quite a productive morning, got all my shopping done and was back in the car (no walking to town for me today, not in this rain!) by 9amIt's now all put away and I'm just waiting for the water to heat up so I can wash the mountain of dishes, so while I'm waiting I will mostly be updating spreadsheets and lurking on here.
Love to all

Happy Birthday Sammy - hope you are being spoilt and not working today!
Day off today and the weather has stopped my plans for going into town. I was going with my daughter who would have to get a mobility scooter but that wouldn't be any good in this weather, she would get soaked!!
So we are off to look at wheelchairs instead. We are borrowing one from the Red Cross for our holiday, but could really do with one all the time for when we go shopping etc. We can't get one from Social Services as she doesn't meet their criteria for one!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j
