window company or independent builder?

I am hoping to have double glazed french doors fitted in my lounge where there is an existing window. Window has radiator underneath which will obviously need to be moved. Can't decide between using independent builder, who would do all work (moving radiator, fitting doors, building outside step, internal/external finishing), or going to a window installation company, where I imagine I would have to arrange for the rad. to be moved, and possibly build outside step, and not sure about their finishing.
Have not yet got quotes but wondered if anyone had any advice as to which might be the better option.

Thanks

    get a proper builder/handyman.
a window company will only sub out the building part of the job and charge you twice as much.
    Get some gorm.
