sorry i need to rant,
last week i listed a sack full of my youngest 0-3 months clothes i toted up £500 worth
anyway i was asked by someone if i would ship to germany so i weighed it up putting it all into a refuse sack, well thought no more of it until the following morning i went to take it all out and wash it ready as there was just 6 hours left (22 watchers) but i couldnt see it anywhere, i panicked, rang dear hubby who said oh i thought it was rubbish!!!!!!! he had put it out earlier for the bin men, by this point the bin had gone some 1/2 hour ago.
so i ring the refuse company hoping someone relised and put it on the truck for safe keeping..........................................they hadnt!
well poor hubby got it right in the neck
so a friend said ring the insurance company which i did "great im covered!"
well not anymore this morning i get a letter stating im not covered
im gutted im so skint this month im selling loads and jsut seem to be losing out everywhere!
sorry i needed to moan i sthere any way i can argue with the insurance company about this???

Big Hugs to you, that is the sort of thing that happens to me honey - alot. I'm not very knowledgable on the insurance front, I hope you can sort this out easily.

It's easily done! A couple of years ago my wife was sorting her shoe collection and for reasons known only to herself decided to put them in a black bin liner while she decided what to do with them.
Of course this would be the day that I was taking some other rubbish to the tip and of course I included this bag . When my wife returned home she went mad..cue much bad language and even more bad temper!
I dashed back to the tip only to find the whole lot had been crushed and pulped!! This resulted in another outburst of bad language and bad temper when my wife was told this . I think she would have thrown her shoes at me if she had any left to throw!

Sorry to hear that, I hate it when things like that happen. I would rather give it away. I hope things come good for you, will keep my fingers crossed xxxDFW NERD 276: Proud to be dealing with my debts.Champagne taste and lemonade money!!!

Friends of mine were having trouble with their kids after last xmas and threatened to get rid of all their presents as punishment. The kids pushed it a little more so just as a show the parents put all presents in a black sack, intending to give them back after 24 hours...you've guessed the rest! Their kids are a little better behaved these days!"grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"

I moved in 1993 and put all my rubbish in one set of black bags and belongings in another. When I got to my new place I had several bags of belongings and one bag of rubbish. It wouldn't have been too bad except in my disorganised rush I kind of split pairs of shoes etc. One of the casualties was a pair of very expensive dressage boots from Germany, I still have the left one...[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0

Have you cancelled your listing on eBay before it ends?? You can easily cancel now and avoid having to tell the winning bidder etc.

yes he is forgiven now! just :rotfl:
i agree i would ratehr have given it away than to have it all wasted its a terrible shame, i couldnt get it off ebay as it had 6 hours left i was sat there for 3 hours cancelling bids til one very nice lady bought it on buy it now price so i could leave the pc station :rotfl:
i did post another identical page requesting no one bid on this or the other listing hoping that might work, most ebayers were great and undserstanding although some thought it was a selling tatic i wouldnt mind but her maximum bid was .99p!:rotfl:
oh well its gone now i will give the insurance company a ring next week and query this though as it is accidental!
thanks for your post and heed word of warning DONT USE BIN BAGS!!!!!!LIGHT BULB MOMENT, JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!
