Best offer or no best offer?

I've put a few things on E-Bay, some with best offer, some without. I haven't had any best offers so far for most of the items - I put the price a little high hoping someone would meet me halfway. Do people just see the price as is and not bother with the best offer bit? Would I be better putting a lower price on rather than bothering with best offer?

I don't use 'best offer' when selling, but have used it several times when buying. Seeing the 'buy it now' price doesn't deter me either, if I have offered too low, once I think, the seller came back to me and said I could have it at xxxxx.
Hope that helps you, or go onto ebay into their forums and see what the guys there advise you. They are a great crowd and have helped me on a few questions I had.

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I do like Best Offer as a rule, but you do get some stupid offers - I have an item on at £275 or best offer.....someone offered me £15.
